COVID-19 Response & Safety

I am currently serving all my clients via teletherapy and/or in-person sessions. The availability of in-person meetings are subject to change based on COVID-19 pandemic conditions and safety recommendations. For virtual sessions, I use a secure Audio/Video solution that allows us to meet virtually. If you are in need of support right now, just reach out to me and we will schedule an initial consultation.

Our Work Together

As your therapist, I provide a comfortable and confidential office, as well as years of training and experience, to support you in creating the life you want.  The first step in our work together is setting up a 20-minute phone consultation.  This gives you a chance to ask me any questions you have and for me to learn more about your current needs.

In our first session, we will identify and explore the changes you want to make in your life and make a plan on how to get there.  Our work together will involve weekly sessions where we explore your emotions, relationship dynamics and whatever is most present for you.  This process leads to self-awareness, which is the foundation for making positive changes in your life.

My Education, Experience, and Approach

I graduated with my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University and have spent the last few years working in a variety of local and national non-profit and school-based settings. Before opening my private practice in 2020, I worked as a therapist with Jewish Family and Children’s Services, Southern California Counseling Center, Fairfax High School, and Renewed Relationships Counseling Group. I have also had the honor of spending the last few years working as a clinical team member, and now as clinical director, with a non-profit organization called Experience Camps (a national, no-cost summer camp program for grieving children (ages 9-17) who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or primary caregiver).

Overall, my therapeutic approach is integrative and designed specifically to meet the individual needs of each client. I work from a relational and psychodynamic lens because I believe our past experiences and relationships influence our strengths, struggles, and personal relationships today. My goal is to help my clients better understand the ways they exist in relationship to themselves, others, and their environment, resulting in an increased sense of self-awareness and agency. Through our work together, my clients can develop the kind of self-compassion and insight necessary to create healing, positive shifts in relationship dynamics and find greater fulfillment.

In my work with families, the focus is on understanding and supporting the family as an emotional unit. I work with all members to enhance communication, create balance, and strengthen relationships between family members.

A bit more about…

Experience Camps, founded in 2009, is a national, no-cost program for grieving children (ages 9-17) who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or primary caregiver. Through compassion, connection, and play, Experience Camps allows grieving children to embody a life full of hope and possibility.
